Speakeasy Animated Icons

For this junior year project at the University of Missouri—St. Louis, I was asked to create an animated icon set for the topic of my choice. One of my lockdown binges of 2020 was Peaky Blinders on Netflix, and I thought a speakeasy icon set was quite fitting; there are quite a few similarities between 1920 and 2020! Initial research included 1920's lingo, colors used in interior design and clothing, and cocktail recipes, of course!

To emulate the glitz and glamour of the roaring twenties, I created smooth animations focused on decade-appropriate cocktails, drinkware and other items of cultural importance. All animations were done in Adobe After Effects.
